Lessons & Practice
Every student will receive three private lessons and two chamber music coachings each week. They will be given individually designed schedules with assigned practice and rehearsal times. Here at Amici, we strive to teach the joys of intense, focused work.
Workshops & Masterclasses
Workshops with various topics in music including "Art of Practicing Your Instrument", "How to Prepare for Competitions", and "Technique Seminar" will be offered. Guest artists will visit to work with the participants throughout the two weeks. The masterclasses schedule will be open to public.
Chamber Music Ensembles
Each student will be assigned to a small musical ensemble according to individual age and abilities. The students will learn to make music with peers in an intimate setting and grow together as musicians. The student ensembles will be given performance opportunities in the second week of the Festival.
Concerts
There will be Showcase Concerts featuring both solo and ensemble repertoire throughout the two weeks. Every participant will have multiple opportunities to perform in various settings.
Performing with the Pros
Students will have the opportunity to audition for the experience of rehearsing and performing with our faculty members at a Showcase Concert. The interested students should learn the corresponding instrument's part for a chosen work prior to coming to the Festival. Two students per piece will be selected at the audition.
